Shipping & Delivery Policy

BzaarHaat is a marketplace platform. Shipping is arranged directly between buyers and vendors after inquiry transfer. BzaarHaat may assist with transport coordination through our platform tools.

1. Shipping Responsibility

  • Shipping is arranged directly between buyer and vendor after lead transfer
  • The vendor is responsible for dispatching goods as agreed
  • The buyer is responsible for arranging receiving logistics at their location
  • BzaarHaat may assist in recording and sharing transport details

2. Delivery Timelines

Delivery timelines for bulk grain orders (estimates only):

  • Within Bihar: 1-3 business days
  • Neighbouring states (UP, Jharkhand, WB): 3-7 business days
  • Pan-India: 7-15 business days

Actual timelines depend on quantity, vehicle availability, weather and road conditions. Confirm exact timelines with the vendor.

3. Freight Charges

  • Freight charges are determined by distance, weight and vehicle type
  • Freight may be paid by buyer or vendor as mutually agreed
  • BzaarHaat records freight details in our Transport Coordination system
  • Typical freight: INR 15-40 per quintal depending on distance

4. Inspection on Delivery

Strongly recommended:

  • Inspect grain quality and quantity before signing delivery receipt
  • Verify grade and specifications match the order
  • Document any discrepancies with photographs immediately
  • Raise quality issues within 24 hours of delivery
  • Do not accept visibly damaged or tampered consignments without noting the condition

5. Dispatch from Bihar

Many of our vendors are based in Bihar and surrounding states — a major grain-producing region of India. Shipments may originate from:

  • Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Patna (Bihar)
  • Varanasi, Gorakhpur (UP)
  • Ranchi, Dhanbad (Jharkhand)
  • And other grain-producing regions across India

6. Transport Coordination

BzaarHaat provides an optional transport coordination feature:

  • Admin team records vehicle number, driver details and freight amount
  • Transport slips can be generated and shared via WhatsApp or email
  • Driver can be contacted directly via WhatsApp from our platform
  • This is a facilitation service — BzaarHaat is not a logistics company

7. Loss or Damage in Transit

  • Document damage with photos at the time of delivery
  • Responsibility lies with the vendor or transport company
  • Insurance for bulk grain shipments is strongly recommended
